Sue-ellen Kohler, a teacher from the Sydney Yoga Space, which has now closed, is the director of Black Lotus Studios. She has been teaching since 1989 and was certified to teach Iyengar yoga in 1995. Her training was with Peter Thomson and she has regularly studied at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India. Peter Thomson, the owner of The Sydney Yoga Space, teaches regular advanced intensives at Black Lotus Studios.
