Let’s get out of our heads and into our present state of being! Mindfulness is seeking a state of presence and a consciousness awareness into all we do (no matter how mundane the task) so that we’re connected and fully immersed in the reality of our current experience. It’s the opposite of multi-tasking - which is a great skill to harness when needed but ideally not our default state!
Slowing down give us the space we need to truly notice the things we’d otherwise miss, to appreciate the finer details and to maintain an inward connection so we can live our lives a little fuller without letting it pass us by! We don’t need to be doing anything wildly different to find joy in any given moment when we can simply shift our perspective, let go of distractions and cultivate mindfulness in all we’re doing!
