Cherise originally came to Australia for a 2 year work/travel visit from Canada in 1989. Advenutures unfolded, and in the process, Australia has become her home. One of Cherise's greatest adventures has been the discovery of yoga, which she first began to explore on her own. She then enrolled in an introductory course at Yoga Spirit Studios (then Torrensville Yoga Studio) and became completely hooked by the experience. This led her to complete her Certificate of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at YogaSpirit Studios in 2004. Since graduating with her teaching certificate Cherise has been a regular teacher at this studio. Cherise is inspired by the subtle yet profound sense of well being that has come through a regular practice of yoga, and seeks to pass this experience on to her students.

Her personal aspiration is to open the heart and minds of children to their radiant true essence, unlimited inner potential and beauty, through yoga. Her classes are non-competitive, holistic and FUN! Children attending her classes learn about body awareness, flexibility, co-ordination, strength, self-control, self-expression and creativity, relaxation and peace. Sallie has been teaching for over eight years and continues to enjoy sharing her passion for yoga with others. Sallie returns to Yoga Spirit Studios after spending three years teaching and practising on the far north coast of NSW. She strongly believes that over time our practice of yoga can support us to find peace of mind, speak our truth and live with a more open and loving heart, that we can take our practice off the mat and share this positivity with others in our lives. New to motherhood, she has recently experienced firsthand the nurturing and affirming role that yoga practice can play during pregnancy. She takes great pleasure in assisting others to bring the tremendous value of regular yoga practice into their life.
Tina has been exploring Indian philosphy and religion since her teenage years. She began to practise Hatha Yoga at the age of 18 and attended frequent classes for ten years through her twenties. Then while raising her children, her hatha practice waned. In 2004 Tina felt the call to return to hatha yoga. She found Yoga Spirit Studios and the guidance of Rebecca Richards. After a few years it seemed a natural progression to undertake the Yoga Spirit Studios Certificate of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training so that she could share the gift of yoga with others.
Tina teaches with compassion and a belief that, while the practice of hatha yoga keeps the body limber, the real benefits of yoga lie in discovering inner peace and balance.
