Yoga for kids aged 7-12 years; I have been teaching kids yoga for 7 years & incorporate partner work, breath awareness, fun games, sequencing, balance, inversions, strength work, flexibility, self love, relaxation & massage. My performing arts background keeps the classes fun, creative & allows the kids to grow at their own pace. I incorporate a spiritual element by inviting them to understand their unique gifts & talents;embracing them & taking them out into the universe.

Adults classes are modified to suit all levels; I am particular about alignment but like each student to work at a pace that feels right for them on the day;resting when required; going deeper or easing out of poses; listening to their bodies; finding their own edge;working with effort & ease; letting go & releasing old patterns of thought that no longer serve; self acceptance & love being an important focus; a non competitive environment; props such as bolsters, blocks & belts are used to assist. Adjustments are made when necessary;a focus on building a yoga community & spreading the word about the benefits of yoga practice for all body types, sizes & shapes; a holistic approach finding harmony physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually; learning to take yoga off the mat & into every day interactions
