Lionel will educate everyone in his easy-going manner on bush-tucker, medicines, share knowledge of Indigenous culture and this ancient landscape. Surrounded by the beauty of our native flora and fauna, enjoy the healing sounds of the Yidaki (didgeridoo) through meditation at the end of the walk.
The Briars Park is home to abundant native flora and fauna. Vegetation varies from woodland to wetland. and provides amazing opportunity to experience nature at its best.
Wear closed toe walking shoes, sunscreen, dress for all weather & bring a bottle of water.
You are welcome to bring a back pack with water, a snack/lunch and a small towel for a didgeridoo meditation if you wish.
This is a beautiful way to connect with the quietness and life in nature, to see the forest and plants from different eyes, A very relaxing couple of hours. Afterwards, we'll head off to a cafe. Should be back at Moorabbin late afternoon.
