Description

This is a 200Hr Yoga Alliance Accredited Training for Women

delivered in two Modules so that you can select the schedule that best suits you. Module 2 can be taken directly following from March 13 - 24.

The venue is a beautiful timber and glass airconditioned Yoga Shala near the pristine wild beaches of Byron Bay.

Shakti Yoga honours the Dance of the Divine Feminine, including both the Powerful Expression of dynamic, Creative Energy and also the passive or receptive quality of Surrender and Release and Allowing.

This training will give you a deep understanding and experience of the benefits of working with both of these energies as we prepare for the day with invigorating dynamic Morning Vinyasa Flow Practice, and wind down with Yin/Restorative Evening Practice for release of deep inner tensions in the Body/Mind and rejuvenating sleep.

As a Shakti Yoga teacher you will be able to adapt these sequences to suit your own personal practice and create a teaching practice that suits your own style and the needs of your students.

A key component of this training will be the cycles and seasons of a Woman's life as she matures, with powerful, uplifting practices for  the various stages: Menstrual Cycle, Pregnancy (Including pre and post Natal), and Menopause.

As well as being a thorough and complete training in the principles and practices of the Classic Yoga Tradition, this will be an Awakening of your Feminine Essence and a Celebration of connection with the Shakti Yoga Tribe through Daily Live Music, Sacred Dance and Ritual. There will also be Modules on the Business and Ethics of Yoga Teaching and personal guidance in finding the most relevant business structure to achieve your professional goals.

The Training also includes ongoing support and followup, as well as the oppportunity to complete the 2 modules back to back, or take 9 months to integrate the learnings of Module 1 before taking Module 2 in November 2019.
