In the afternoon arrangements of swaying and circular movements are worked when the energy is dominant in the blood. The aim is to move the energy into the nerves.
This course will present a sequence suitable for the evening using the circular part of Karttikeya Mandala prelude.
Karttikeya Mandala (Garland of Light) builds on an understanding of Bala Krama and Chaya Yoddha Sancalanam preludes. It frees the spine from the imposition of the limbs and increases the circulation and penetration of breath and life force through circular, spiral and swaying movements. This activity prepares for the practice of more complex seats and yoga-asana and Nṛtta Sādhanā. Prerequisite: 2+ years of all 3 Shadow Yoga preludes.
