Our famous and highly requested cooking classes are finally back - we welcome you to join us on our first stopover to India for a day of delicious cooking and tasting, and community connection!
Run by the lovely Debora Galvin and Monika Golebiowska - two of our highly skilled and much sort after ASMY chefs - who live and breathe traditional, authentic, delicious cooking - this will be a day that does not dissapoint! Learn their many secrets and tips in creating with love all the amazing food we enjoy week in and week out at our meditation and yoga programs and retreats.
Plus, they will be joined by guest speaker Dr. Ram from Vibrant Ayurveda who will be sharing wisdom and insights from his motherland India on the traditional use of spices and their healing properties, plus tips on how to apply Ayurvedic principles to food preparation.
This is a culinary journey not to be missed!
Our menu will include:
- Subji Curry
- Split Mung Bean Dahl
- Spiced Beetroot Pilau Rice
- Green Pakoras: Parsley and silverbeet.
- Cutney: Mint-cilanto-chilli and South Indian coconut.
- Masala Paste: Spiced paste base for curries, subji's and dahls.
Suitable for both experienced cooks who are on the lookout for different ideas and techniques, as well as “I have never cooked a vegetable in my life” newbies, this day will have something for everyone!
We know that introducing new foods, cuisines and cooking techniques into your diet can sometimes be overwhelming, so we will be guiding you through everything step by step.
