Melissa came to the practice of Yoga in 2009 as after 22 years of Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern Contemporary Dance and way too many dislocated patella’s and bouts of chronic Sciatica, she needed a way to heal her body without giving up movement.  

After realising the positive impact it had on not only the body, but also the mind, Melissa decided to further educate herself & graduated with a Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching in 2014. Since then she has been teaching corporate Yoga to an enthusiastic group of students who realise the benefit of Yoga not only on the mat, but off the mat as well. 

Melissa teaches from the belief that once we connect the breath & body through Yoga, we can clear the mind to become more present, mindful & spacious throughout our everyday lives. So no matter what may be happening from day to day, we can remain grounded, aware and open-minded.
