I have always been an imaginative, creative, compassionate being with an endless curiosity about nature and life in general. Even as a child, I felt deeply connected to nature (I'm a Taurus). You would either find me hanging out in the garden or exploring the bush with my friends. Life intrigued me, I wanted to know why we were here and how & why we were created. At a young age, I had unfathomable faith and was very much interested in spirituality. I'm still very curious and love diving deep into these types of conversations.
I started practicing Yoga at home as exercise only, but it didn't take long for me to notice that I felt different, more content after my practice. I felt there was much more to this "exercise" and was curious to learn more. In 2009 I followed this inner quest to learn more and so decided to invest myself into Yoga Teacher Training with My Health Yoga who were located at Woolloongabba at the time. I loved every single second of this training and soaked it all up like a sponge. It fullfilled every part of my being!
A few years after that, whilst camping in nature, I started creating Dreamcatchers out of vines. And so another adventure unfolded as my love of nature and love of art combined. With lots of contact with the Yoga Community, I started to display my dreamcatcher art in Yoga Studios around Brisbane. It seemed to be such a natural and harmonic synergy of energy and was gratefully recieved! My art is still displayed in various Studios around Brisbane.
It is now, as the Feminine energy rises, that I feel called to create my own studio to welcome and support women in these changing times. It is here I can combine all my loves & interests into one intimate space. I have many dreams and plans for this sacred space, but just as yoga has taught me, I am taking it slow and letting it evolve naturally. It feels so exciting and so right. All in divine timing as they say. I feel so blessed to be able to put all my loves under one banner as Chez Healing Arts.
All is energy.
