"The posture becomes perfect when the effort of achieving it vanishes."
Yogabhasya
The practice of Yoga Exercises means practicing both your body and your mind.
It takes willpower and perseverance to accomplish each Yoga Pose and to practice
it daily. But the prize for your perseverance is really worth all the hard work.
The practice of Yoga Exercises or Asanas can improve your health, increase your
resistance, and develop your mental awareness. Doing the Yoga Poses requires
you to study each pose and execute them slowly as you control your body and
your mind.
Yoga Exercises are also known as Asanas, Yoga Postures or Yoga Poses. These
exercises work on all the various system of the body. It makes the spine and
joints supple and tones the muscles, glands and internal organs. Though the
Asanas may just seem to be merely physical exercises, you will later realize
that it is more than exercising your body. As you progress, you will become
more aware of the flow of Prana, the vital energy, and the importance of correct
breathing - that is creating a union between your breath and your movement.
