Cindy Anderson
Cindy Anderson has been practicing yoga since 1990 and has been teaching since 2004. The last 10 years of her practice have been spent learning and absorbing different styles into her own brand of flow yoga. She pulls her inspiration from a solid foundation in Iyengar, mixed with some years learning Ashtanga and Anusara as well as Ayurveda, meditation and pranayama, a combination that enriches student’s asana work. Her favorite and most influential teachers have included Aadil Palkhivala, John Childers, Saul David Raye, Desiree Thibault, Alan Finger and others from the Yoga Works traditions. While encouraging students to challenge their “edge” in class, she believes that having fun, compassion and patience while on the yoga mat is how students can realize the joy, health and peaceful blessings yoga can bring our lives off the mat.
