NEW STUDENTS: you’ve come to the right place!
don’t be nervous. we’re happy you have the inspiration to start a yoga practice.
you’ll be great. all you have to do is show up for the Fundamentals class.
try to come at the start of a new season as the class is sequential...but don’t fret, even though the class builds week to week it’s not rocket science, it’s the science of you. so, time and experience will help but you have to show up and try.
here’s how to do it:
Please be Early + On Time for Class.
Students will not be permitted to enter 15 minutes after the start of class
What to Bring to Class
Bring your Self with an empty tummy; wear your bare feet + a smile.
Comfortable, relatively fitted clothing is encouraged. Wearing layers is wise as we experience fluctuations in temperature in the beginning, throughout, and in closing class.
Avoid wearing baggy pants, as it prevents us from helping you with your alignment.
We have changing rooms and all the yoga props you¹ll need — but, if you have your own mat, bring it. It’s more hygienic and a more personal experience with your own props.
What NOT to Bring to Class
Your cell phones, other communication devices, gum, perfume and worries can stay outside the studio.
Studio Cancellations
If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather or an emergency, there will be an announcement on the studio’s voice mail, two hours or more before the class is scheduled to begin. Classes will be held as usual on all holidays unless specifically announced.
pure prana reserves the right to cancel a class under extreme circumstances.
Earliest notification will be given and students may choose a full refund, or transfer to another class.
Injuries/Physical Limitations
We have a wide range of classes to accommodate people with various physical conditions.
Please let your teacher know before class about any physical problems or medical conditions.
