Sat Nam Yoga
Yoga" is not about forcing your body into poses, you do not have to touch your toes to practice yoga or put your foot behind your head! This is a mis-conception of what Yoga is truly about. Rather, we approach our practice and understanding of Yoga with Compassionate – Awareness. Then the body Gently Opens like a Flower, Life Force Flows throughout our Being and the Mind becomes Steady and Calm.
People often say, I cannot do yoga because I am not flexible enough. It is important to remember that we all have to start our journey somewhere, the body cannot open up and become more supple and resiliant if we do not use it! Class by Class, Day by Day the Body will respond to your Consciousness, we just do what we can do and that is more than enough.
