Teacher training
Description
Since 2001, Atma Yoga has been developing a training program that is the only one of its kind in the world. What makes Atma Yoga so unique is that it integrates yogic philosophy and yoga practices that work together in this modern age. Highly spiritual but far from new-age, Atma Yoga draws upon the ancient sciences of yoga to give students the necessary tools for becoming modern yogis. Our program prepares teachers to pass these tools along to their students with authenticity.
Great Teachers Have Four Qualities:
+ Power
+ Charisma
+ Virtue
+ Intuition
• This teacher training intensive will be a deep and rewarding immersion into the art and science of developing these four qualities and becoming a great yoga teacher
• The intensive includes:
- posture workshops
- yoga twice-a-day
- presentation skills (our exclusive charisma training process)
- working in small groups to master the dynamics of teaching
-developing advanced sadhana (personal breath and meditation practice)
- pranic healing
- an intense pranayam workshop
- practice teaching classes
- seminar on creating a yoga business
• The teacher training intensive will count for the bulk of the hours needed for certification. To complete the certification program you combine the hours earned at this intensive with the hours earned completing our online program and the hours from an additional 3 day workshop. This program creates more flexibility, lets you set your pace, and is more environmentally sound
• What to expect:
